Salary: $75,607 - $89,428 a year


Position Summary

The Assistant Manager of Annual Giving plays a critical role in building and sustaining donor support for Binaytara’s mission to promote equitable access to cancer care and research. This position supports the strategy, execution, and growth of the Foundation’s annual giving program—including digital campaigns, direct mail, donor cultivation, donor stewardship, and special events. The ideal candidate is mission-driven, data-informed, and passionate about advancing health equity in cancer care through effective fundraising.


Key Responsibilities

  • Fundraising Campaigns: Assist in the development and execution of annual giving appeals via email, social media, direct mail, and peer-to-peer efforts, with a strong emphasis on donor acquisition, cultivation and retention.
  • Donor Communications & Stewardship: Develop and execute timely acknowledgment letters, donor recognition strategy, impact reports, and other stewardship materials that highlight the organization’s impact on cancer care and research.
  • Data Management: Maintain donor records in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce), ensure segmentation accuracy communications tracking and pull lists for appeals and reports.
  • Digital Engagement: Collaborate on the creation and delivery of email campaigns and online fundraising content that align with campaign goals and brand voice.
  • Event Support: Assist with planning and promotion of fundraising events, including the annual gala, corporate employee giving events, donor events and other donor initiatives.
  • Performance Analysis: Track and report campaign metrics and donor trends to inform fundraising strategy and decision-making.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal programs, marketing, and communications staff to ensure fundraising messaging reflects organizational goals and impact.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, degree in nonprofit management, communications, public health, or related field preferred.
  • 5-6 years of experience in fundraising, annual giving, or nonprofit marketing, event management, ideally in a healthcare or global health context.
  • Familiarity with donor CRM systems such as Salesforce and email platforms such as SendGrid
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive attitude and problem-solving mindset.
  • Passion for health equity and a strong commitment to the mission of the Binaytara.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with health-related nonprofits, especially in oncology, global health, or healthcare equity.
  • Graphic design or content creation experience (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and copywriting.
  • Familiarity with donor segmentation, A/B testing, and digital engagement strategies.


Working Conditions

  • This position is office based in Bellevue, WA
  • Some evening or weekend availability required for events or campaign deadlines.
  • Occasional travel may be needed for donor meetings or events.
