Position Summary
The Director of Development leads Binaytara’s major gifts and individual giving program, building durable relationships with donors and prospective donors who can advance the organization’s mission. The Director manages a portfolio of qualified prospects, moves donors through a disciplined cultivation and solicitation cycle, and secures significant unrestricted and designated gifts.
Binaytara’s national conferences create distinctive opportunities to engage physicians, faculty, attendees, patients, advocates, and other mission-aligned supporters. The Director will travel regularly to conferences to identify and meet prospective donors, deepen existing relationships, and connect supporters with Binaytara’s impact. This role combines strategic portfolio management with highly personal, face-to-face donor engagement.

- Coordinate closely with institutional giving, sponsorship, communications, finance, programs, and conference teams while preserving appropriate distinctions between philanthropy and commercial support.
- Maintain complete, timely, and confidential donor records in the organization’s CRM, including contact reports, relationship stages, next steps, gift documentation, and forecast information.
- Support gift acceptance, acknowledgment, restriction tracking, and stewardship practices in accordance with organizational policies, donor intent, and applicable ethical standards.
- Monitor results, analyze performance, and provide concise pipeline and revenue reports to Executive Leadership.
- Manage assigned budget resources responsibly and perform other development-related duties consistent with the scope and level of the role.
