Bhawana Srivastava, Director of Education Programs and Logistics at Binaytara
At a time when the Binaytara is rapidly expanding its reach with more than 50 oncology conferences across 20 states, the need for thoughtful strategy and structure has never been greater. Meet Bhawana Srivastava, our first-ever Director of Education Programs and Logistics. With a rich background in adult education, instructional design, and performance development, Bhawana is poised to help us scale our Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs with precision and impact.
Bhawana discovered Binaytara the same way many modern professionals find purpose—on LinkedIn. No stranger to nonprofit service, she had previously volunteered with organizations like 4C for Children and Seva Foundation. When she came across a post from our team, she saw an opportunity to bring her specialized skill set to a mission that deeply resonated with her. “I always look for places where my background in learning and development can make a real difference,” she explains. “That’s what drew me in.”
Although Bhawana has led major talent and learning initiatives in the corporate world, she was immediately struck by the unique culture at Binaytara. “It’s a small but incredibly cohesive team,” she says. “People collaborate across departments in really meaningful ways, and there’s a strong desire to do things better.”
Her role is intentionally strategic. While program managers focus on day-to-day logistics, Bhawana’s focus is on long-term scalability. That means formalizing workflows, minimizing redundancy, and developing tools that make the growing conference load more sustainable. “My goal is to build systems that make the work easier so our teams don’t feel stretched thin, even as we expand.”
But for Bhawana, the most exciting part of the role is the mission. “This is the first time I’m contributing to healthcare in a meaningful way,” she says. “Knowing that I can use my skills to help improve access to cancer care, especially in underserved communities, is incredibly fulfilling.”
Whether it is supporting conference planning in underserved U.S. cities or helping lay the groundwork for international expansion, Bhawana is already thinking big. And with her leadership, Binaytara is better positioned than ever to scale thoughtfully and to ensure that knowledge truly reaches those who need it most.
