The International Journal of Cancer Care and Delivery (IJCCD), Binaytara’s flagship open-access oncology journal, is calling for review article submissions focused on access to cancer care, oncology service delivery, and evidence-based solutions to address cancer disparities worldwide.

Binaytara’s flagship journal, the International Journal of Cancer Care and Delivery (IJCCD), invites authors to submit review articles focused on real-world challenges and solutions in cancer care delivery. We are seeking practical and action-oriented reviews that address various aspects of cancer disparities. These include barriers to diagnosis and treatment, workforce and infrastructure limitations, practice variation across settings, guideline implementation, financial toxicity, and scalable models to improve equity and outcomes.

As shared by the IJCCD’s Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Umang Swami from Huntsman Cancer Institute, “This call reflects IJCCD’s broader mission to bridge innovation and implementation in oncology. While scientific advances continue to accelerate, our focus remains on how those advances are delivered in real-world settings and whether they reach all patients equitably.”

Why Does This Work Matter?

Cancer care disparities remain a pressing global challenge, demanding innovative and collaborative solutions that explicitly ask the tough questions: how is cancer diagnosed, treated, and financed in real-world systems?

Rigorous scholarly review articles are essential to synthesize existing evidence that is ever evolving and chart a shared research and implementation agenda for equity-focused cancer care delivery. The barriers are real, and they impact the lives of people by the second.

For example, in low-resource settings, shortages of pathology, imaging, and radiotherapy capacity lead to long turnaround times and missed opportunities for early-stage treatment with curative intent. Similarly, financial hardships and shortages of cancer care providers contribute to delayed care and treatment interruptions. There is an urgent need to go beyond documenting the existence of these disparities and synthesize evidence-based approaches to solve them.

Make Your Research Count: IJCCD is Where Scholarship Translates to Real-World Impact

IJCCD is uniquely positioned to serve as a home for scholarship that does more than describe disparities. We publish articles that interrogate mechanisms, evaluate interventions, and inform how cancer care is organized, financed, and delivered. The journal aims to foster solutions-oriented discourse that supports clinicians, researchers, advocates, and policymakers in transforming cancer care systems so that every person, in every setting, has a fair opportunity to prevent, detect, and survive cancer.

And once published, your work will reach a multidisciplinary audience of clinicians and those committed to improving cancer care globally, the ripple effect of which will live on for years to come.
