Biography
Alexandra Koehler, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, is a Nurse Practitioner in Genitourinary Medical Oncology at Ochsner MD Anderson Cancer Center, where she provides care for patients with prostate, kidney, bladder, and testicular cancers. A New Orleans native, she earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Alexandra serves as Co-Director of the Advanced Practice Provider Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program, helping to train and mentor future oncology APPs. She is actively involved in oncology education through departmental education committees and the Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology (APSHO). Her professional interests include APP education, mentorship, and fellowship development.
