Biography

Ashwin Kishtagari is an Assistant Professor of Medicine, Hematology, and Oncologyat Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He received his medical degree fromKasturba Medical College, India. He then completed an Internal Medicine residencytraining at Mount Sinai Morning Side-West Hospital, New York, andHematology/Oncology fellowship training at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland. Dr.Kishtagari is a board-certified hematologist-oncologist and an expert in treatingmyeloproliferative neoplasms, myelodysplastic syndromes, and acute myeloidleukemia. He is a passionate clinical and translational investigator, the combinationof a passion for caring for patients and pursuing a keen interest in clinical andtranslational research. His love for science has always been rooted in the belief thatknowledge gained in the scientific arena can translate into better medical treatmentsand meaningful outcomes for patients.
