Biography

Ateefa Chaudhury, MD is a hematologist practicing at New Mexico Cancer with an interest in coagulation and classical hematology. She completed her undergraduate degree from University of Southern California and medical school from University of New Mexico.  She did her Internal Medicine residency at University of Arizona.  She completed her Hematology/Oncology fellowship at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute/University of South Florida. She did additional training in coagulation (hemostasis and thrombosis) at Duke University and University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Prior to joining New Mexico Cancer Center, she practiced at one of the largest Hemophilia treatment centers on the west coast and currently serves as a co-editor for the Handbook of Hematologic Malignancies.
