Calvin Ridgeway, MD

Biography

Calvin A. Ridgeway, MD, earned his bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Wabash College and his Doctor of Medicine degree from Tulane University School of Medicine. He completed his General Surgery residency at the University of Missouri–Kansas City, followed by a fellowship in Surgical Oncology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Ridgeway is a board-certified surgical oncologist at Lovelace Medical Group specializing in breast cancer, melanoma, and skin cancer. He founded New Mexico's first accredited Breast Care Center at Lovelace Women's Hospital and has led numerous clinical trials in breast cancer and melanoma. Dr. Ridgeway serves as Co-Chair of the New Mexico Cancer Care Alliance Board of Directors and is volunteer faculty at the University of New Mexico.
