Emerson Y. Chen, MD

Biography

Dr. Emerson Chen is an Assistant Professor of Medicine, Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at OHSU. He received his MD from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Post-graduate training included an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and a Hematology and Medical Oncology fellowship at OHSU. He has special interest in esophageal-gastric, colorectal cancers, and anal cancers especially multi-disciplinary collaborations with radiation oncology and gastrointestinal surgery departments to develop treatment pathways that minimize treatment related toxicities and preserve tangible clinical benefit.
