Biography

Koosha Paydary, MD, MPH, MSc, obtained his MD and MPH from Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran. Afterward, he worked as a post-doctoral research fellow at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania. He completed residency in internal medicine at John H. Stroger Jr Hospital of Cook County, Chicago, IL and received a Masters in Clinical Research from RUSH University. Paydary completed fellowship in hematology/medical oncology at the University of Chicago, where he also enrolled in a clinical pharmacology and pharmacogenomics fellowship focusing on the design and conduct of early phase clinical trials, as well as integrating pharmacokinetics and pharmacogenomics principles to further personalize cancer therapy. He also has an interest in tumoral heterogeneity and its association with treatment response, and is currently involved in the care of cancer patients with different solids tumors, with focus on thoracic and H&N cancers.
