Marian Girgis, MD

Biography

After graduating with her MBBCh medical degree from the Ain Shams University, Egypt, Dr. Girgis completed her Internal Medicine residency in Detroit Medical Center, Michigan. She then completed her Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at Henry Ford Health System, Michigan. Following her fellowship, Dr. Girgis joined the Henry Ford team as a staff physician specializing in Breast cancer, and Sarcoma. She recently got appointed as medical director for the sarcoma program. Her interest is in tumor biology and microenvironment. She also has an interest in new developments, clinical trials and research. She also serves as a clinical assistant professor at Michigan State University, College of Human Medicine.
