Biography

Dr. Mathews George is a board-certified medical oncologist and palliative care physician who practices in Texas After his initial medical training he received membership of the Royal College of physicians of England and trained in oncology and palliative medicine in the UK. He was a Chief medical oncologist at the South Texas VA health system in Harlingen providing care to over 50,000 veterans. He was also the Chief medical oncologist at the Nacogdoches Medical Center and served as associate Professor at Sam Houston osteopathic College of medicine. He joined texas oncology in Oct 2023. His interests include all solid tumor oncology and hematologic malignancies
