Melissa Mary Hardesty, MD, MPH

Biography

Melissa Hardesty, MD, MPH, is a board-certified gynecologic oncologist and managing partner at Alaska Women’s Cancer Care in Anchorage, Alaska. Fellowship trained in Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Washington in Seattle, she has been caring for patients in Anchorage since October 2013. Dr. Hardesty is one of only three board-certified gynecologic oncologists in Alaska and is among the state’s busiest and most experienced robotic surgeons. In addition to her full-time clinical practice, she oversees gynecologic cancer clinical trials at Providence Alaska Medical Center. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology and holds clinical faculty appointments with the University of Washington School of Medicine, the University of Alaska Anchorage, Dartmouth School of Medicine, and Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences.
