Pamela Allen, MD, MSc

Biography

Dr. Pamela Allen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University, where she serves as Director of T-Cell Lymphoma Research. She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Maryland and her hematology and medical oncology fellowship at Northwestern University. Dr. Allen is a clinical and translational investigator focused on T-cell lymphomas, particularly cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, as well as Hodgkin lymphoma. Her research examines treatment outcomes, prognostic factors, racial disparities, and how the tumor microenvironment and skin microbiome influence disease biology. She also leads multicenter efforts to improve outcomes for patients with rare lymphomas. Her work has been recognized by the American Society of Hematology, the Lymphoma Research Foundation, the Cutaneous Lymphoma Foundation, and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and is supported by NIH funding.
