Biography

Dr. Qing Catherine Zhao is an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. She specializes in treating patients with breast cancer in the division of Cancer Medicine, and currently services as a Director of Genetic Program and High-Risk Breast Cancer Clinic at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center. She is a member of NRG breast cancer committee.Her research focuses on improving outcomes for patients with breast cancers through the development of clinical trials with novel therapies and investigation of prognostic/predictive biomarkers. She is the principal investigator on several breast cancer clinical trials at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center.
