Biography
Dr. Steven Chen is a first-year Hematology/Oncology fellow at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center. He earned his MD/PhD degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai where he completed his PhD in the lab of Miriam Merad. His PhD work focused on the role of dendritic cells in lung cancer immunology and high dimensional immune characterization of SARS-CoV-2 infection. He completed his Internal Medicine residency training at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center. His research interests include cancer immunology, tumor microenvironment, immune checkpoint, and cell therapy in thoracic oncology.
