Biography
Theresa Medina, MD, earned her B.S. degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Colorado Hospital followed by fellowship training in Medical Oncology. Dr. Medina is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Medical Oncology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and a medical oncologist at UCHealth specializing in melanoma and other solid tumors. Her clinical and research interests focus on immunotherapy and the development of novel cancer treatments through clinical trials. Dr. Medina has served as an investigator on numerous national and international oncology studies and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications. She is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Colorado Medical Society, and the American Chemical Society.
