Biography
Dr. Hensing is a medical oncologist specializing in breast oncology. She has a special interest in cancer genomics and targeted therapies. During her fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis, Dr. Hensing developed a multicenter phase 1 clinical trial of unique drug combination in patients with HER2 altered tumors. She was awarded the Young Investigator Award in breast cancer disparities research from the ASCO Conquer Cancer Foundation. She has published several articles on circulating tumor DNA in patients with metastatic breast cancer, including the genomic landscape by circulating tumor DNA in invasive lobular and HER2-low breast cancers.
