Yazan Migdady MD, MSc

Yazan Migdady is a hematologist-oncologist, transplant physician, researcher, and healthcare entrepreneur dedicated to advancing the care of patients with blood cancers through innovation, cellular therapies, and precision medicine.

He graduated with honors from the Jordan University of Science and Technology and completed postdoctoral research training at the Lester & Sue Smith Breast Center at Baylor College of Medicine. He subsequently completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Brown University and earned a Master of Science in Medical Sciences from the University of Florida. Dr. Migdady pursued advanced subspecialty training through a Blood Banking and Transfusion Medicine Fellowship at Stanford University and a Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), where he developed expertise in hematologic malignancies, stem cell transplantation, cellular therapies, and translational research.

Prior to joining University of Michigan Health–West, he served on the Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy Program at the Knight Cancer Institute and later as Co-Director of Research and Clinical Innovation for the Transplant and Cell Therapy Program at the Colorado Blood Cancer Institute (CBCI) in Denver, Colorado.

At University of Michigan Health–West, Dr. Migdady continues to advance the field of hematology through patient-centered care, clinical research, transplantation, cellular therapy, education, and innovation, while pursuing opportunities that bridge medicine, technology, and entrepreneurship to shape the future of healthcare.
