Biography
Douglas Leedy, MD, is a cardiologist at Providence Swedish Heart & Vascular Institute where he directs the Cardio-oncology Program and Cardiac Amyloidosis Clinic. He leads clinical efforts focused on the evaluation and management of patients with cancer-related cardiovascular disease and transthyretin cardiac amyloidosis. Dr. Leedy completed his medical degree at Tulane University and his internal medicine residency, chief residency, and cardiovascular disease fellowship at the University of Washington, where he subsequently served on faculty. His clinical and academic interests include improving the detection of cardiac amyloidosis and developing multidisciplinary approaches to cardiovascular care for patients with cancer.
