Biography

Dr Dubard-Gault (Du-Bar-Gol-t) trained in medicine and oncology in France; in internal medicine at U Penn in Philadelphia; and in medical genetics at MSKCC and Cornell in New York. She is a board-certified internist and geneticist, and she practices as a cancer genetics doctor. She was at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center for 5 years before joining Providence-Swedish Cancer Institute in Seattle, WA. In the clinic, she helps patients at risk of cancers launch a screening and early detection plan, so they are empowered to change their risk of developing certain cancers, and benefit from potentially life-saving interventions. As a researcher, she is a member of the Paul G. Allen Research Center. She works on research studies to advance knowledge in hereditary cancer syndromes and precision oncology. She is interested in expanding access to clinical trials in early detection and cancer prevention.
