Rajat Thawani, MD

Biography

Rajat Thawani, MD is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and thoracic medical oncologist at the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute in Portland, Oregon. His research focuses on the intersection of immunotherapy and targeted therapy in lung cancer, spanning early-phase drug development, investigator-initiated trials, and real-world outcomes research. He leads Project LAMP (Lung Cancer in Young Adults Multidisciplinary Program), an OHSU initiative integrating clinical care and research to improve early detection, treatment, and survivorship for young adults with lung cancer.
