Chih-Yi Liao, MD

Chih-Yi "Andy" Liao, MD, is an associate professor of medicine at the University of Chicago, where he is associate director of the gastrointestinal oncology program, co-director of the neuroendocrine tumor program, and medical director of the hematology/oncology clinic. He is a medical oncologist who treats hepatocellular carcinoma, biliary tract cancers, and gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumors and has served as principal investigator on more than 60 clinical trials of novel systemic therapies. He earned his medical degree at Vanderbilt University, completed internal medicine residency at Rush University Medical Center, and completed hematology/oncology fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis.
