Daniel Barnett, MD, is a hematology and oncology fellow at the University of Arizona, where he also completed his internal medicine residency. He earned his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, where he received the Gold Humanism Award for Excellence in Compassionate Care. His clinical and research interests center on applying artificial intelligence in oncology, with particular attention to improving clinical decision-making and simplifying the more complex, resource-intensive aspects of cancer care.
