Michael Choi, MD

Michael Choi, MD, is a clinical professor of medicine at UC San Diego Health and Moores Cancer Center, where he specializes in the treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia. He is part of UC San Diego's CLL research team and has participated in the clinical trials that led to the approval of many current CLL therapies, including leading first-in-human and combination trials of zilovertamab, a Wnt-pathway-targeting agent developed in UC San Diego's own research laboratories. He completed medical school at the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine, and hematology-oncology fellowship at UC San Diego.
