Neda Hashemi, MD

Neda Hashemi, MD, is a medical oncologist and hematologist with Ironwood Cancer and Research Centers in Gilbert, Arizona, specializing in genitourinary, lung, and head and neck cancers. She earned her medical degree from Iran University of Medical Sciences, completed a neuro-oncology research fellowship at Cleveland Clinic, trained in internal medicine at UT Health Science Center in Houston, and completed a hematology-oncology fellowship at Indiana University, where she served as chief fellow. Before joining Ironwood, she was a faculty member and associate professor at the University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center, where she led the GU working group, helped launch a prostate cancer diagnostics program, and served as a principal investigator on numerous clinical trials.
